In a tremendous show of raw fury
an unknown power cracks its whip
sending people scattering for cover and
its latent fear, through our hearts rip

a life...

a life lost in continuity
of dreams lost to conformation
of memories left in wilderness
and finding peace in retrospection

A moment of greatness lasts exactly that - just a moment
but it takes eternity to get to that moment
